Amber Teething Necklace

Baltic Amber Teething Necklace. 🍃

My mother-in-law introduced me to these teething necklaces when my husband and I got married. I have used them with all my babies, and I have never had to deal with common teething pains.

Not only are they effective, but they are also super cute! However, it is important to remember not to leave the necklace on your baby unsupervised, such as when they are sleeping alone. Also, make sure to get the right size to ensure it is not too loose.

What is an amber teething necklace?

An amber teething necklace is a necklace designed to be worn by teething babies. It is believed that the baby's body heat causes the amber to release oils containing succinic acid, which is then absorbed into the bloodstream to help ease the baby's pain.

Almost all amber teething necklaces are made from Baltic Amber, which is fossilized resin from the sap of conifer trees. It comes from the dark, cold forests of the Baltic region. It's important to ensure that you get real, raw Baltic Amber.

The crucial component associated with Baltic amber's healing properties is succinic acid, which makes up 8% of its composition. Succinic acid is present in many vitamin supplements, heart medicine, and topical creams for arthritis. Baltic Amber is often used as an active ingredient in Chinese medicines. In many European and Asian countries, Baltic Amber necklaces can be found in pharmacies.

Succinic acid can have the following benefits:

- Anti-inflammatory

- Immune-boosting

- Rich in antioxidants

- Calming and soothing

Although there isn't much scientific evidence on this subject, based on experience, these necklaces are effective.
