Gut brain axis

Did you know that our emotions are not only felt in our minds but also our gut? Feelings such as joy, fear, sadness, anger, and nervousness can all be experienced in our digestive system. Moreover, some emotions can be stored in our gut, such as anger and sadness, leading to the accumulation of toxic waste in our bodies.

Can you imagine the impact of gut health on our mental state? Our gut health can determine how we respond to situations, how we view ourselves, and how we connect with others. It is important to take care of our gut health to maintain a healthy mind, body, and spirit.

“The gut microbiota produces and interacts with various compounds, including neurotransmitters like serotonin and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), playing crucial roles in regulating mood and emotions. Serotonin, known as the "happy hormone," is primarily produced in the gut and influences mood, sleep, and appetite.”
